Interesting how the once top prospects fall by the wayside. Bowey on waivers for almost nothing and Djoos not even in the league last year. If I remember correctly in 2017/18 they were the toast of the town and hailed as the next great D pair to be in Wash. Wonder which prospects in Hershey will be like that in the future? Also interesting how Copley who went undrafted has carved out a nice career as a backup goalie.

When was Djoos a top prospect? He was a 7th round pick who exploded the year before the Cup, but Siegenthaler was rated ahead of him, and Johansen had just gotten drafted. Caps fans fell in love because he dummied the Penguins, but that’s about it.

I think you forgot a notable one, Harrison. Chase Priskie. Caps draft pick, though he never signed with us.
