The Bears were also in roster-trimming mode on Sunday, re-assigning seven players from their training camp roster to the ECHL, including Capitals prospect Garin Bjorklund and Peter Laviolette.

Elite Prospects Profile
Since the final Caps waivers won’t clear until tomorrow afternoon and I think the Bears have one more preseason game I assume we can expect more moves before the roster is finalized?
Additional moves very possible. They are wrapping up their final preseason game as we “speak” – tied 2-2 heading to overtime.
Its curious why would the Caps want or allow Peter to practice in Hershey if he signed with Wheeling?
I’d like to know the story behind his signing someday. I have guesses about some of it.
Now if only the Capitals would release Laviolette Senior! And bring in Spencer Carbery.
