Many of the Washington Capitals prospects participated in Development Camp from July 11-15 and then in Rookie Camp from September 15 through September 19 and are now participating in the Capitals’ main training camp. But several Capitals prospects were unable to participate in either Rookie Camp or Training Camp, due to college or participating in a foreign hockey league.

Below is the run-down of the prospects who did not attend Capitals training camp. Most of them are currently playing college hockey.

Chesley started his freshman year at the University of Minnesota in August, with the Golden Gophers beginning their season on Saturday, October 1. They will play at two games home in 3M Arena at Mariucci against Lindenwood on October 1 and October 2.
