Capitals Open Season On TNT, ESPN Releases 2022-23 NHL Schedule

ESPN announced their broadcast plans for the 2022-23 NHL regular-season on Wednesday. The Washington Capitals will be featured on ESPN, TNT, or ESPN+ 13 times, starting with their opener against the Boston Bruins at Capital One Arena on Wednesday, October 12.

Information regarding the Capitals’ local broadcast schedule with NBC Sports Washington will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the broadcast schedule the Capitals announced five time changes from the original schedule: Dec. 7 at Philadelphia (from 7:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), Jan. 11 at Philadelphia (from 7:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), Feb. 11 at Boston (from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.), Feb. 12 vs. San Jose (from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.), Feb. 25, vs. NY Rangers (from 3 p.m. to 1 p.m.).
