It was a busy Saturday afternoon for Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin and his son, Sergei. The father and son duo began the day dropping the ceremonial puck before the start of Moscow Dynamo’s season opener against Ak Bars.
The two then quickly made their way across town to the VEGAS Kuntsevo Super Mall for a ceremony that officially recognized Alex Ovechkin as the 10th member of the “Alley Of Champions.”
As part of the ceremony, Alex and Sergei walked a Hollywood-styled red carpet, which was lined by hundreds of enthusiastic fans. Alex and Sergei made their way to the stage where Alex signed his official star.
Other members of the Alley Of Champions include Evgeni Malkin, Ilya Kovalchuk and Conor McGregor.
Ovechkin is wrapping up his off-season in Moscow and will reportedly return to Washington on Wednesday of this week.

Conor McGregor? And Malkin made it in before Ovi?
Sergei does not appear to be the extrovert that his father is. Interesting that they used the English spelling of his name on the star.
Any way to get the audio translated?
