The Washington Capitals announced on Monday that the team will open training camp for the 2022-23 season on September 22 at MedStar Capitals Iceplex. The Capitals will also hold their media day on September 22.

Jon, do you know coaching assignments yet? Which coach will be responsible for what? Not just for camps but for the year.

Nothing official announced by the team, but i’s suspect Scott Allen will assume many of the duties of the departed Scott Arniel (Forwards and Penalty kill), however Lavi might tweak specific duties a bit.

I hope that he evaluates people and jobs and does some re-assigning. Some aspects of our play were at the bottom of the league last year and deserve someone different looking at them.
