According to YourObserver, Washington Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette and wife Kristen have sold their home in Longboat Key, Florida to A.C Buddendorf Ltd. Partnership for $3,575,000. The Laviolette’s purchased the home for $1.2 million in 2015.
Built in 1994, the home has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,132 square feet of living area. The Laviolette’s originally acquired the property in 2015 and originally listed the property in 2019.
The Laviolette’s did a lot of work on the property, as you can tell by this video from 2014, before they purchased the property.
Here’s a look at the property as it sits today:
The parties I could throw there.
Beautiful beach home.
Waterfront prices but not on the water. Not even on the beach. Has to keep his boat in a marina. Note no gulf view in the photos, just slight one in the older video — when trees were younger and smaller. Yes, it would be more private, more secluded from ordinary folk walking the beach but if you’re going to have a beach home it needs a view of the beach.
Don’t understand the fireplace and firepit. I’m 70 miles north of there and never turned the heat on last winter.
Longboat key is beautiful
The Laviolette clan own about a dozen properties in Manatee and Sarasota counties. At least three generations maybe more.
