Capitals Officially Release 2022-23 Preseason Schedule

The Washington Capitals officially announced their preseason schedule for the 2022-23 season on Friday morning. They will play six games.

Training camp will likely begin Thursday, September 23 with team media day occurring the day before.

Here is the exhibition schedule:

Sun 9/25 vs. Buffalo Sabres at 2 PM ET

Weds 9/28 at Philadelphia Flyers at 7 PM ET

Fri 9/30 at Detroit Red Wings at 7:30 PM

Sat 10/1 at Columbus Blue Jackets at 7 PM ET

Weds 10/5 vs. Red Wings at 7 PM

Sat 10/8 vs. Blue Jackets at 7 PM ET

Expect the league to release the regular-season schedule some time next week prior to the 2022 NHL Draft on Thursday. The regular season will begin on Tuesday, October 11.
