Putting The Capitals’ 2022-23 Preseason Schedule Together

Even though the Washington Capitals have yet to announce their 2022-23 preseason schedule, other teams have released theirs and we are beginning to put the pieces together. Here is what we know, so far:

Sun 9/25 vs. Buffalo Sabres at 2 PM ET

Fri 9/30 at Detroit Red Wings (Time TBA)

Sat 10/1 at Columbus Blue Jackets at 7 PM ET

Weds 10/5 vs. Red Wings (Time TBA)

Sat 10/8 vs. Blue Jackets at 7 PM ET

It is likely that the Capitals will play 6-8 games. We have checked Devils, Islanders and Bruins, who have released their complete preseason schedules, but there are no games with the Capitals.

Stay tuned for final games and dates as they are released.
