After their season ended with a 4-3 overtime loss to the Florida Panthers in Game 6 of their first round series in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and conducting their annual exit interviews at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, the Washington Capitals held a team dinner Sunday before the players go their separate ways for the offseason.
The team held the event on The Vue Rooftop Bar at Hotel Washington, which is located at 515 1th Street Northwest; the venue is opposite the United States Treasury, located next to The White House, which along with other notable Washington, D.C. structures, is visible from The Rooftop Bar.

In addition to The Rooftop venue, Capitals prospects Alexander Alexeyev and Bogdan Trineyev, Ilya Samsonov, Dmitry Orlov, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Martin Fehervary. who presumably departed soon after the end of the festivities to join Team Slovakia in Helsinki, Finland for the IIHF World Championship, also had a get-together at what appears to be Kuznetsov’s house; also in attendance at The Vue festivities were Axel Jonsson-Fjallby and forward Joe Snively.

The menu featured a four-course meal list that included salad and Italian meats (Salumi) among the first round, a Mushroom risotto (rice dish), and choices of Chilean sea bass or wagyu beef dishes, followed by double chocolate and almond cake with raspberry jelly to complete the delicacy list.

Those two defenders who allowed the last goal in play off are stupid slow idiots and don’t deserve a paycheck. They deserve to be kicked out of team!
It’s a hard luck life!
Great hockey club.
