The schedule for the Washington Capitals‘ first round playoff series against the Florida Panthers has been released. The series begins Tuesday night in Sunrise, Florida. Puck drop is set for 7:30 PM.
Game 2 will be played Thursday night in Sunrise, Florida, before the series moves to the Nation’s Capital for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday afternoon and Monday night.

The Capitals finished the regular season 1-1-1 against the Cats, outscored 13-12, and averaging 4.00 Goals For Per Game and 4.33 Goals Against. Some possession numbers from the three regular season tilts.
The series will be the first-ever meeting of the two former Southeast Division rivals in the postseason. The Capitals are 67-43-9-12 all-time in the regular season (including ties) against the Panthers (a .592 Points Percentage).

Very excited to see the Caps take on the best. Low expectations but hopeful they can go longer than 4 or 5 like most seem to think.
