The Washington Capitals held morning skate this morning at UBS Arena in Belmont New York Thursday morning. Team captain Alex Ovechkin, who missed the last game due to an upper body injury, participated in morning skate.

Ovechkin particpated in line rushes, but was one of four players that skated with the top line.
Capitals were running four players on their top line during rushes this AM.
Sheary-Kuznetsov-Oshie with Ovechkin there as well. Looks like 8’s status for tonight is still up in the air.

Ovechkin suffered an upper body injury in the third period of Sunday night’s game against the Maple Leafs and was listed “day-to-day” by the Capitals on Monday.
