Alex Ovechkin Participates In Morning Skate In New York


The Washington Capitals held morning skate this morning at UBS Arena in Belmont New York Thursday morning. Team captain Alex Ovechkin, who missed the last game due to an upper body injury, participated in morning skate.

Ovechkin particpated in line rushes, but was one of four players that skated with the top line.

Ovechkin suffered an upper body injury in the third period of Sunday night’s game against the Maple Leafs and was listed “day-to-day” by the Capitals on Monday.
