Nicklas Backstrom Out Against Bruins


The Washington Capitals announced just before game time on Sunday that Nicklas Backstrom will not play against the Bruins. The team labeled it “body maintenance”.

Backstrom skated 18:55 last night in the Capitals 6-3 win over the Penguins in Pittsburgh. He had an assist and was 65% in faceoffs.
