After scoring his third goal of the season Tuesday night at the Nashville Predators, Washington Capitals forward Joe Snively continued a hot streak, potting his first power-play goal and fourth goal overall Thursday night as the team clashed with the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.

Snively (4) gave the Capitals a 2-1 lead on a man advantage at the 12:49 mark of the second period. The assists went to forward Conor Sheary (12) and defenseman Dmitry Orlov (17).

He now has seven points (4g, 3a) in nine career games and continues a productive stretch in his rookie season.
