Continuing a productive stretch, Washington Capitals forward Joe Snively scored his third goal of the season Tuesday night as the team clashed with the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena.
Snively (3) opened tonight’s scoring in the first period at the 4:17 mark. Forward Conor Sheary (11) and defenseman Dmitry Orlov (16) assisted.

As mentioned, it marked his third goal of the season. The Herndon, Virginia, native now has six points (3g, 3a) in eight career games.
That marks the 34th time this season the Capitals have scored the game’s first goal, which leads the NHL. The Caps are 20-9-4 this season when they score the game’s first goal.
