Washington Capitals prospect Bogdan Trineyev scored two goals for JHC Dynamo in a 2-1 win against Krylya Sovetov at Krylya Sovetov Arena in Moscow on Tuesday.

JHC Dynamo fell behind 1-0 just over halfway through the second period. But near the end of second period, with just 18 seconds to go, Bodgan Trineyev struck with the first of his two goals. He got assists from Mikhail Bolshakov and Magomed Sharakanov.

Trineyev scored his second goal of the game just over two minutes into the third period, at 42:02, getting assists from Magomed Sharakanov and Ivan Didkovsky. The goal proved to be the game winner.

The two goals were Trineyev’s first two of the season. Prior to that, he had recorded 11 assists in his prior 14 games.

Trineyev was assigned as the center for the second line in today’s game, something relatively new, as he typically played left wing. For this game, he wore the “A” patch to indicate he was one of the alternate captains.

The game recap from the MHK site can be found here.

Trineyev needs to get going. He needs to be in KHL or Hershey next season.

Confirmed. He dealt with an injury at the beginning of the season, but he’s been playing for a while since the conclusion of world juniors camp. His time is now.
