NHL Announces Revised 2021-22 Regular-Season Schedule; Two Capitals Games Moved, Four Rescheduled

The NHL announced schedule changes for all 32 teams on Wednesday after the league entered the holiday break two days early and more games were postponed this winter due to COVID-19. The Washington Capitals had four games that were postponed rescheduled but also had two more that were moved.

The Capitals’ games

* at the Philadelphia Flyers (originally scheduled for 12/21) will now be Thursday 2/17 at 7 PM ET

* at the New York Islanders (12/23) will now be Thursday 4/28 at 7 PM ET

* vs. the Ottawa Senators (12/27) will now be Sunday 2/13 at 12:30 PM ET

* vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets (4/28) will now be Tuesday 2/8 at 7 PM ET

* at the Montreal Canadiens (1/4) will now be Thursday 2/10 at 7 PM ET

* at the Nashville Predators (4/1) will now be Tuesday 2/15 at 8 PM ET

The NHL withdrew from participating in the 2022 Winter Olympics to make up the games that the league needed to.
