On the night his teammate with the American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears Zachary Fucale made NHL history with the Washington Capitals, Shane Gersich put up a strong performance of his own in a victory against the rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Gersich, who entered the night off a two-goal contest against the Bridgeport Islanders (including the game-winner) on January 2, put up yet another two-spot against the Pens.
