Washington Capitals center Nic Dowd and his wife Paige have launched a Dowd’s Crowd fundraiser. Proceeds will be used to support future Dowd’s Crowd programming. The auction is now open at washcaps.com/dowdscrowd and concludes at 3 PM ET on Friday, January 14.

Select items in the fundraiser include a 2021-22 Capitals team-signed home jersey, a 2021-22 Capitals team-signed blue W third jersey, a stick used and signed by Dowd, and signed photographs of select Capitals players.

In addition, a 30-minute virtual meet and greet with the Dowds is also available for purchase and includes 2 lower bowl tickets to a future Capitals game.

To view all items in the fundraiser, visit washcaps.com/dowdscrowd. The auction closes at 3 PM ET on Friday, January 14.

The Dowds created Dowd’s Crowd in 2018 to provide the opportunity for children with sensory needs to be able to attend Capitals games. Through the program, fans receive tickets and a Dowd’s Crowd branded sensory kit. The Dowds were inspired to launch the program due to Paige’s education in Speech Pathology in college.
