Adding to the List: Mike Sgarbossa Added to the Capitals’ COVID-19 Protocol List Prior to Game Against the Kings

Prior to their Sunday night game against the Los Angeles Kings, the Washington Capitals announced that forward Michael Sgarbossa had been added to the team’s COVID-19 protocol list.

Sgarbossa, who has played in seven games this season for the Caps, joins TJ Oshie, Evgeny Kuznetsov,  and Nicklas Backstrom on the list.

Sgarbossa has recorded two goals and one assist in the aforementioned seven contests. Prior to the game, the NHL announced linesman Julien Fournier would miss the game as a result of being in COVID-19 protocol, leaving the officiating to two referees and one linesman.
