The Trade: Capitals Fan Gives T.J. Oshie A Doughnut For A Warmup Puck

Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie made a fan’s night during pre-game warmups on Monday prior to their clash against the Anaheim Ducks. The young fan held up a poster that said he would give a doughnut…well, a doughnut plush to Oshie for a puck.

And Oshie delivered!

The fan received not only an official warmup puck but also Oshie’s stick:

The doughnut story started a few seasons ago when Oshie’s youngest daughter Leni promised to give her dad a doughnut if he scored a goal in that night’s game…

…which he did, of course. The next morning, the Oshie family went out for Duck Donuts.

Anyone else in the mood for doughnuts now?
