Justin Schultz Leaves Capitals Game vs. Canadiens With Upper-Body Injury

Washington Capitals defenseman Justin Schultz left Wednesday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens with an upper-body injury. He will not return for the remainder of the game, per the team.

With under five minutes left in the first period, he took a big hit from Canadiens’ defenseman Jeff Petry. Schultz did finish his shift but did not play afterward. He had 5:54 of ice time in the first period.
