The Capitals began the season at +2500 odds to win the Stanley Cup. If you took those odds in the preseason, you got in at the right time, at least according to the oddsmakers in Sin City.

The latest odds for the Capitals winning it all have improved from +3000 in July and +2500 in September to +1900 on Monday. They are now a top-10 favorite to win it all. Below are the latest Vegas odds released on Monday.

The Capitals have seen their Stanley Cup odds shorten after a big week that included a 6-1 win over the Penguins and a fairly successful west coast road trip. Only the Carolina Hurricanes have better odds in the Metropolitan Division to win it all.

The New York Islanders odds continue to worsen as they try and break their six game losing streak, including back-to-back home losses. They have fallen out of the Top 10 in the NHL odds to win the Stanley Cup.
