T.J. Oshie Will Not Play Sunday vs. Kraken; Listed Day-to-Day With Lower-Body Injury

Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie will not play in Sunday’s game against the Seattle Kraken. Per the team, he is listed day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Oshie returned to the lineup in Saturday’s 4-0 win over the San Jose Sharks. He was originally listed week to week with a foot injury. It is unclear if that is related or something new.

He will miss the Capitals’ first franchise game against Seattle, his hometown, in their final game of a week-long West Coast road trip.

The Capitals also announced minutes before puck drop that forward Conor Sheary will miss tonight’s game due to an upper-body injury. He is listed day-to-day.
