It’s that time of year: the annual Caps Canine Calendar photoshoot! Here are the adorable behind-the-scenes photos and videos we can expect to see in the 2022 calendar.
Partnered with the Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation, Capitals players nuzzled up and posed with puppies from Wolf Trap Animal Rescue on Thursday.

WTAR is an established not-for-profit 501(c)(3) business that currently operates to facilitate means of transport, foster, and adoption of rescued pets. The program works to rescue pets who are at risk of neglect, homelessness, and euthanasia from shelters & communities in states of the South.

Most of the puppies are still available to adopt through WTAR. More information on the 2022 Caps Canine Calendar will be released at a later time.
