After a sleep first period the Capitals stormed back with three goals in the second period to ultimately take home a point in yesterday’s tilt with the Calgary Flames. The Capitals remain unbeaten in regulation in the 2021-22 season.
The team was back to work Sunday afternoon at MedStar Capitals Iceplex. Center Nic Dowd did not participate in Capitals practice on Sunday. He was held out of practice with a lower body injury, and is considered day-to-day.
