Henrik Lundqvist now has a new job, post hockey career. He will be joining MSG Networks to talk New York Rangers hockey.
After a long career with the New York Rangers, Lundqvist nearly became goaltender for the Washington Capitals for the 2020-21 season, but was unable to play due to a heart condition. The heart condition ultimately forced his retirement as a player.
He will be joining the Rangers’ MSG Networks in time for their home opener of October 14 where they play the Dallas Stars. MSG Networks announced the news on Twitter.
