Henrik Lundqvist Joins The MSG Network For Rangers Coverage


Henrik Lundqvist now has a new job, post hockey career. He will be joining MSG Networks to talk New York Rangers hockey.

After a long career with the New York Rangers, Lundqvist nearly became goaltender for the Washington Capitals for the 2020-21 season, but was unable to play due to a heart condition. The heart condition ultimately forced his retirement as a player.

He will be joining the Rangers’ MSG Networks in time for their home opener of October 14 where they play the Dallas Stars. MSG Networks announced the news on Twitter.

The network announced that news today.

Henrik tweeted a picture of himself at his new position with the news of him going back to work.
