Tom Wilson Already Drawing Ire From Boston Bruins Fans

We are exactly one game into the 2021 NHL preseason and Boston Bruins fans have already begun their predictable whining about Tom Wilson. They wasted little time, beginning with last night’s preseason opener.

The play that supposedly instigated the Bruins fan’s ire occurred at the opening faceoff of Sunday night’s preseason game. Prior to a faceoff Wilson and Bruins Anton Blidh began to jostle for position. Blidh would lose the battle and his helmet in the tussling.

Bruins fans must have been longing to whine about Wilson all offseason. It didn’t take long for them to respond in typical Boston fashion:

It’s only preseason but Bruins fans appear to be in mid-season form.

The two teams will meet in one more preseason game on October 6 in Boston. The two teams meet for the first time in the regular season on January 10 at Capital One Arena.

good thing it wasn’t Wilson that hit Fogarty as he tried to duck a check, those pricks would really lose their excrement

Bruin fans would be the first ones that would love to have Wilson on their team.

Caps fan here. Hopefully he learned from previous pre season games but yet another cap went head hu ting with his elbow.

  5. Christy says:

Someone needs to tell Blidh how to wear his helmet. If it is that loose you’re going to lose it.
