A realtor for Century 21 in Canada, specializing in small-town Canadian real estate, recently visited the community of Marshall, Saskatchewan, hometown of Stanley Cup champion Braden Holtby. He created a short two-minute video highlighting all of the town’s features, including the most important feature of all, the “Home Of Braden Holtby”sign. He shared the video to the company’s social media pages.
According to a 2011 census. 533 people live in Marshall. There were quite a few more people in the area on July 31, 2018, the day Holtby brought the Stanley Cup home to his community.

The following is a video interview with Holtby on his family farm in Marshall, conducted by the fine folks at Sportsnet. It does a great job of capturing the hometown flavor. Highly recommended viewing.
The sign in Marshall is not the only sign in the area to pay tribute to Holtby and his Stanley Cup season. The Town of Lloydminster, just down the road from Marshall, commissioned a mural of Holtby hoisting the Stanley Cup on the Highway 16 overpass just outside of town.
