The Capitals Select Forward Haakon Hanelt In the 5th Round Of The 2021 NHL Entry Draft

The Washington Capitals selected German forward Haakan Hanelt in the fifth round (#151 overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday. Hanelt turned 18 last month and spent last season playing with and against men for the Berlin Polar Bears in the Deutsche Eishockey League (DEL).
