The project will provide more than 500 thousand square meters of sports facilities for various purposes. Two large arenas will be built on the territory – a rugby stadium with an area of about 130 thousand square meters and a multifunctional sports center with an area of about 220 thousand square meters.
“In addition, there will be a big surf park, a water sports center with a plunge pool, the center of curling, ice arena Tatiana Navka and Professional Hockey Academy of Alexander Ovechkin with children’s schools, swimming pools, centers of physical training and rehabilitation” – said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction.
It is also planned to build an athletics arena, an extreme sports center, a skate park, a trampoline center, a sports school and an early physical development center.
