After the 2018-19 season, Jaskin signed a one-year deal with Moscow Dynamo of the KHL where he blossomed into a superstar. In 2019-20, he scored 31 goals and totaled 63 points in 56 games, finished second in goals and second in overall points, and won the league’s MVP award.

He added three more goals and three more assists in six games for a postseason aborted by the Covid-19 pandemic. He signed a two-year contract extension with the team when the season was complete.

He continued with his incredible production for Dynamo during the 2020-21 season. He scored 38 goals, recorded 22 assists for 60 goals overall. He lead the KHL in goals scored and was fourth overall in points. His 38 goals set a team record in goals for the season. During the 2020-21 post season, Jaskin added five goals and three assists but Dynamo was eliminated in the second round.

Jaskin announced his thanks to the team as he confirmed his departure, “I want to thank the entire organization of HC Dynamo @dynamo_ru for your trust and for the opportunity to play for this great club! Thanks to partners and coaching staff! I wish the guys good luck next season, I will definitely follow! These were two unforgettable years thanks to you fans! Dear Dynamo! We play for you, your support and emotions are priceless! For my wife and me@nadi__jaskin, you have become like one big seed! Thank you for your warm welcome and trust! I’m sure we’ll see you again ”

The General Director of HC Dynamo, Evgeny Krovopuskov, expressed his thoughts. “Dmitrij Jaskin decided to accept the offer from the NHL, which suited him. There were certain agreements between the Club and the player, which we fulfilled. For two seasons, Dima delighted the fans with a bright game. He excelled both offensively and defensively. When we signed a contract with Yashkin two years ago, we understood that a big star and a new face of the league was going to the KHL. And in case of a successful performance, we will have to meet the player halfway. On my own behalf and on behalf of the entire Dynamo Moscow Hockey Club, I would like to thank Dmitrij Jaskin for everything he has done for Dynamo during these two seasons, and wish him good luck overseas. I can also say that in our Club the doors are always open for Dima.”
