Hendrix Lapierre, the Capitals’ first round pick in the 202o NHL Entry Draft, performed well in this year’s postseason, but it wasn’t enough, as he and the Chicoutimi Saguenéens fell to the Val d’Or Foreurs in the third round of the QMJHL playoffs.
Lapierre scored a goal in his team’s last game on May 20, against the Val d’Or Foreurs. His goal had staked the Saguenéens to a 2-1 lead, which they could not hold, as they fell 4-2 to Val d’Or Foreurs.
