T.J. Oshie Misses Morning Skate Prior To Capitals’ Game 4 at Bruins; Lars Eller Participates

Forward T.J. Oshie missed the Washington Capitals‘ morning skate on Friday at TD Garden prior to Game 4 of their first-round Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Boston Bruins (6:30 PM ET, NBC Sports Washington locally, NBCSN nationally) but center Lars Eller, who missed Game 3 due to a lower-body injury, was present.

Oshie did not participate in Wednesday’s morning skate prior to Game 3. He missed the last game of the regular season due to a lower-body injury suffered against the Philadelphia Flyers on May 8.

Eller left Game 2 with a lower-body injury midway through the second period.

Head coach Peter Laviolette told the media on Thursday that he was encouraged by the progress Eller had made but was unsure of his status for Game 4.

The Bruins lead the best-of-seven series, 2-1.
