The NHL released its top-10 goals of the 2020-21 regular season on Wednesday afternoon. Forward T.J. Oshie’s goal in the third period of the Washington Capitals‘ 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on February 25 came in sixth.

After a give-and-go with center Lars Eller and Oshie fought off Penguins captain Sidney Crosby in the neutral zone, the 34-year-old dangled past defenseman Mike Matheson and backhanded the puck past the blocker of goaltender Tristan Jarry with one hand on his stick while falling down to give the Capitals a 2-0 lead 3:18 into the third.

New York Islanders center Mathew Barzal’s between-the-legs goal against the Buffalo Sabres on March 6 earned the honor as the top goal of the season.
