Conor Sheary Nets Thirteenth Goal; Michael Raffl Records First Point as A Capital During Monday’s Game Against Rangers

Washington Capitals forward Conor Sheary scored his thirteenth goal of the season during Monday’s game against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Newly acquired forward Michael Raffl picked up his first point as Capital during the play.

Sheary extended the Capitals’ lead 2-0 during the first period at the 15:44 mark, scoring his thirteenth goal thus far. Raffl and forward Tom Wilson assisted.

His thirteen goals rank fourth on the Capitals this season.

As mentioned, Raffl earned his first point since being acquired at the April 12 Trade Deadline. It marks his sixth assist of the season.
