Capitals-Bruins Game In Boston Pushed Up Nine Days; Two Teams Will Play Again In Washington On May 11

The NHL announced some more schedule changes on Sunday evening, which included the Washington Capitals’ game at the Boston Bruins pushed up to Sunday, April 11. The game will start at 7 PM ET. The Capitals and Bruins were supposed to play at Capital One Arena that night and the NHL moved that game to Tuesday, May 11 at 7 PM ET.

Both games will be covered by NBC Sports Washington locally.

The Bruins had three games postponed last week after six players were placed on the COVID-19 protocol list. As a result, their schedule required some rearranging.

The Bruins-Capitals game at Capital One Arena is currently scheduled to be the Capitals’ final game of the season. The NHL has a week after the regular season is scheduled to end blocked off to make up postponed games due to COVID-19 before the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs start.

Game 726, Toronto at Winnipeg, scheduled for April 21 at 8 p.m. ET, will now start at 7 p.m. ET
Game 721, Montreal at Edmonton, scheduled for April 20, is now scheduled for April 21 10 p.m. ET
Game 736, Montreal at Calgary, scheduled for April 22, is now scheduled for April 23 at 9 p.m. ET
Game 761, Montreal at Calgary, scheduled for April 26 at 10 p.m. ET, will now start at 6:30 p.m. ET
