No. 500 for No. 92: Evgeny Kuznetsov Plays In 500th Career Game with Capitals

Washington Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov played his 500th career game Saturday night as the Capitals hosted the New York Rangers. The 28-year-old is the 30th player in franchise history to have played 500 games.

Kuznetsov’s 0.81 points per game rate is the eighth-highest rate among Capitals with 500 games played.

Kuznetsov, the 2010 first-round pick (26th overall), has recorded 402 points, which include 123 goals. He has picked up 13 points (three goals) thus far into the season. Kuznetsov is on a six-game point streak, leading the team.
