Evgeny Kuznetsov Records 400th NHL Career Point With Goal Against Buffalo

Evgeny Kuznetsov recorded his 400th NHL career point on a goal at the end of the first period against the Buffalo Sabres on Monday.

Kuznetsov scored his goal at 18:46, just three seconds after a Caps power play expired. He was assisted by Justin Schultz and Conor Sheary.

The goal was Kuznetsov’s third goal of the season.

Kuznetsov is the eighteenth player in franchise history to record 400 career NHL points with the Capitals. He was also the seventh player in franchise history to reach 400 points before playing in his 500th career game as he earned this goal in his 497th career game.
