Capitals’ Daniel Sprong Scores Fifth Goal of the Season; Has Three Points in Last Three Games

Washington Capitals forward Daniel Sprong scored the opening goal during Saturday’s clash with the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center. This marks his fifth goal of the season.

At the 4:40 mark in the first period, Sprong netted his fifth goal thus far. Forward Jakub Vrana and center Evgeny Kuznetsov assisted.

Sprong has two goals and one assist in his last three games.

Additionally, Vrana extended his point with the primary assist on Sprong’s goal.

Kuznetsov also extended his point streak and is one point away from hitting the 400 career point plateau.
