Washington Capitals forward Daniel Sprong scored the opening goal during Saturday’s clash with the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center. This marks his fifth goal of the season.
At the 4:40 mark in the first period, Sprong netted his fifth goal thus far. Forward Jakub Vrana and center Evgeny Kuznetsov assisted.

Additionally, Vrana extended his point with the primary assist on Sprong’s goal.
