Capitals’ Lars Eller Returns to Washington Due to “Family Matter”; Will Not Play Thursday Vs. Flyers

Washington Capitals center Lars Eller has returned to Washington due to a family matter. According to the team, he will not play in Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center (7 PM ET, NBC Sports Washington).

Eller has 12 points (5 goals) in 21 games played.
