The NHL announced on Wednesday that Thursday’s game between the Vegas Golden Knights and San Jose Sharks at SAP Center has been postponed after Sharks forward Tomas Hertl was added to the league’s COVID-19 protocol list.

The NHL also said that the Sharks have closed their practice facility and will do so until further notice. They are also reviewing the Sharks’ schedule.

The team is following all league and local health precautions.

New York Rangers defenseman K’Andre Miller was also added to the COVID-19 protocol list while Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Justin Braun and Toronto Maple Leafs forward Alexander Barabanov were removed on Wednesday.

The Sharks are scheduled to host the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, the same night that the Golden Knights are scheduled to visit the Anaheim Ducks.
