Flyers-Capitals Postponed Game Rescheduled For Tuesday, April 13

The NHL announced on Tuesday that the game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 9 has been moved to Tuesday, April 13 at 7 PM ET.

The game scheduled for February 9 was postponed after at least two Flyers tested positive for COVID-19.

The Capitals were originally scheduled to host the Buffalo Sabres that day but the NHL rescheduled that game to February 18.

The game will be the middle one of a three-game homestand and the first of two times that the Capitals will face the Flyers in a three-game span. The Capitals are scheduled to visit Wells Fargo Center four days later.

The NHL announced the following changes to the schedule for the remainder of the 2020-21 regular season, which featured four Dallas Stars games being rescheduled after a severe storm hit the Dallas area last week:

  • Game #271, Tampa Bay at Dallas, originally scheduled for Feb. 18, is now scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Game #668, Philadelphia at Pittsburgh, originally scheduled for April 13, is now scheduled for Saturday, March 6 at 1 p.m. ET
  • Game #250, Nashville at Dallas, originally scheduled for Feb. 15, is now scheduled for Sunday, March 7 at 8 p.m. ET
  • Game #451, Dallas at Columbus, originally scheduled for March 15, is now scheduled for Sunday, March 14 at 5 p.m. ET
  • Game #286, Tampa Bay at Dallas, originally scheduled for Feb. 20, is now scheduled for Tuesday, March 16 at 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Game #258, Nashville at Dallas, originally scheduled for Feb. 16, is now scheduled for Sunday, March 21 at 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Game #828, Florida at Tampa Bay, originally scheduled for March 16, is now scheduled for Sunday, March 21 at 4 p.m. ET
  • Game #723, St. Louis at Colorado, originally scheduled for April 20, is now scheduled for Friday, April 2 at 9 p.m. ET
  • Game #390, Philadelphia at Boston, originally scheduled for March 7, is now scheduled for Monday, April 5 at 7 p.m. ET
  • Game #605, Boston at Philadelphia, originally scheduled for April 5, is now scheduled for Saturday, April 10 at 2 p.m. ET
