The NHL announced on Tuesday that the game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 9 has been moved to Tuesday, April 13 at 7 PM ET.
The game scheduled for February 9 was postponed after at least two Flyers tested positive for COVID-19.
The Capitals were originally scheduled to host the Buffalo Sabres that day but the NHL rescheduled that game to February 18.
The game will be the middle one of a three-game homestand and the first of two times that the Capitals will face the Flyers in a three-game span. The Capitals are scheduled to visit Wells Fargo Center four days later.
The NHL announced the following changes to the schedule for the remainder of the 2020-21 regular season, which featured four Dallas Stars games being rescheduled after a severe storm hit the Dallas area last week:
