NHL Makes Eight Changes To Capitals’ Schedule

The NHL announced eight more changes to the Washington Capitals’ schedule on Tuesday afternoon. This Saturday’s game against the New York Rangers at Capital One Arena has been pushed up to 12:30 PM ET and the Capitals will host the New Jersey Devils on Sunday at 7 PM ET instead of the Rangers as originally scheduled.

On Sunday, March 7, the Capitals will host the Philadelphia Flyers at 7 PM ET instead of hosting the Devils as originally scheduled. The Flyers-Capitals game scheduled for February 9 was postponed after Flyers captain Claude Giroux tested positive for COVID-19.

The Capitals’ two games at the Buffalo Sabres originally scheduled for this past Thursday and Saturday, respectively, will be made up on Monday, March 15, and Friday, April 9.

The Capitals’ scheduled game against the Rangers at Capital One Arena on Sunday will be made up on Saturday, March 20 at 7 PM ET.

After the Capitals’ game against the Boston Bruins at Capital One Arena was rescheduled for Saturday, April 10, the NHL moved it back to Sunday, April 11 at 7 PM ET.

The Capitals will host the New York Islanders on Tuesday, April 27. The Islanders were originally scheduled to face the Capitals on March 15 before the NHL was forced to reschedule the Capitals-Sabres series.

Game #742, Arizona at Los Angeles, originally scheduled for April 23, is now scheduled for Wednesday, March 3 at 10 p.m. ET
Game #244, New Jersey at Boston, originally scheduled for Feb. 15, is now scheduled for Sunday, March 7 at 5 p.m. ET
Game #769, Washington at Philadelphia, originally scheduled for April 27, is now scheduled for Sunday, March 7 at 7 p.m. ET
