Capitals’ Jakub Vrana Nets Fifth Goal of the Season; Has Four Points Over His Last Four Games

Washington Capitals forward Jakub Vrana scored his fifth goal of the season during Tuesday’s clash with the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena. He has scored goals in back-to-back games and has tied with captain Alex Ovechkin and forward Tom Wilson for second-most goals on the team.

In the second period, Vrana extended the Capitals’ lead to 2-0 at the 11:31 mark. Forward T.J. Oshie and center Nicklas Backstrom assisted.

The goal marked his fifth of the season. He has scored goals in back-to-back games and has four points (2 goals) over his last four games.
