TJ Oshie returned to practice at MedStar Capitals Iceplex on Wednesday. Oshie suffered an upper body injury against the New York Rangers on February 4 and missed the last game against the Flyers.

Jakub Vrána also returned to practice after being removed from the COVID-related absences list on Tuesday.

As a result of the recent return of players, the Capitals re-assigned Daniel Carr to the taxi squad and moved Pheonix Copley from the taxi squad to Hershey in time for the Bears game on Thursday.

The Capitals will practice again on Thursday, have a day off on Friday, then practice again on Saturday morning before departing for Pittsburgh. They face the Penguins on Sunday with puck drop set for 3:00 p.m.
