On Tuesday the Washington Capitals released their annual team media guide for the upcoming season. The 379-page guide covers everything related to the Capitals organization, including player and staff bios, team records, team history, policies and facility information.

As always, we will keep a link to the document located in the right column of our home page for the entire season.

You can always access all of the covers of the Capitals media guides (from 1974-Present) on our Capitals “History” page, located in the top menu. Some of the covers are linked to past media guides as well.

I can’t believe we can’t watch certain homes games, 19 total that won’t be aired on local broadcast networks. This is a extreme disservice to the fans. Whi is response this decision?

  2. Hi I have a hockey stick 1973 Russian Mockba K N- M 73 never used and I heard Ovi is collecting old wooden sticks if interested contact me.I played Jr A in cape Breton 1962 and became a cameraman with CBC Vancouver and I covered the the Russia vs Canada series in both 72 and 74.The stick has a story behind it when I worked those games between the benches and setting up the day before the game I would be on the boards using tape for the cables every time I would put the tape on the sill and turn around and it was gone after doing this a few times a translator came to me and said players want to see you in the dressing room and there they showed me their tape made from asbestos the roll as big as a dinner plate so heavy your tape good.I went back to CBC stores and told this lady that loved hockey the story she gave 24 roll package that I brought to the dressing room and I watched the players tape their stick and they gave me the Russian stick.
