I watched the Coyotes home game v. Sharks on the NHL highlight and was shocked they allowed fans in the arena given the Covid numbers in Arizona. On the day of that game at that point in time Arizona had 663K total cases, 11,000 deaths, and on that day alone they had 9,051 new cases and 184 new deaths. These numbers would keep me away from the rink. At 25% capacity they still had large groups of fans sitting together instead of spreading out in the arena an in those groups I saw very few masks. We’re going to be dealing w/this for a long time if we keep allowing for these kinds of events to go on.
