Washington Capitals prospect Damien Riat, who was left off of the Capitals training camp roster, has been on a hot streak for his loaner club Geneve-Servette. Riat would notch two more goals on Thursday against Legano.

Riat’s first goal came early in the contest to give Geneve-Servette a 2-1 lead. Former Washington Capital Daniel Winnik found Riat sitting unfettered in front of the net.

Riat’s second goal highlighted his excellent shooting skills, going top-right corner from the right circle.

Lugano would win the game, 7-3.

For the season Riat has seven goals and 11 assists (18 points) in 19 games played.
