Caps have been the dominant team in the Metro the last 5 years and this is essentially the 20-21 version of the Metro with Bs&Sabres added. Caps still have Ov and the best offense on paper with Backy,Kuzy,Osh, Vrana, Willy , Carlson etc. And I believe they’ve gotten better on defense alone by having the R/L pairs now with VanReimsdyk coming on board and the other D.
So before I post it on Twitter in a few days I’m going post it here..
I believe ..
The caps will have a great year once again
OV (in the shortened 56 game season) will get at close to 50 goals as humanly possibly!
Realistically thats probably35- 40ish maybe 45 if OV got super hot and had like 2-3 Hatties during the season.
They will win the Metro division again.
Sammy will prove he can hold the fort down and be a franchise goalie.
Caps will go deep into the playoffs. Beyond round 2
Your optimism and blue sky perspective is refreshing.
